Easter Egg Hunt

The primary goal of the Easter Egg Hunt is to deliver, in conjunction with Easter celebrations, a message of hope to needy youngsters and children affected or infected with HIV/AIDS in the Caribbean, with the hope that it will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.

Currently this project is conducted annually in Guyana, with plans to extend to Trinidad, Dominica, and Jamaica in 2006. Easter 2003 marked the 3rd year of operations for the Easter Egg Hunt, which was conducted most recently in collaboration with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc

Other objectives of the Easter Egg Hunt are:

• To help needy children throughout the Caribbean experience the joy of Easter, which is a very important holiday in the Caribbean community;
• To play an active role in the development of our most valuable natural resource - our children;
• To contribute to the improvement of the Caribbean region by investing in the future leaders.
